Hypnosis
is often considered a sleep like trance, but it is better described as a heightened state of focused attention. All hypnosis is self hypnosis. Everyone goes in and out of a light state of hypnosis just about every day. The best example being, having you ever driven somewhere and were so focused on your thoughts, that you had a vague memory of getting from point A to B? You were always aware that you were driving and in your car, you just were more focused on what was going on internally, then externally. That is what a session of hypnosis feels like. The most common thought people have while under hypnosis is, am I really hypnotized? There is a common misconception that one will not be aware or under control. Hypnosis is a very gentle shift in state of focus and I have found doing therapeutic work, while in this state, has helped create change much faster than just regular talk therapy. I strongly believe that we have all the answers we desire within us, if we can just learn to listen. Hypnosis allows a person to look more deeply inside creating insights and epiphanies, that lead to lasting change. I do this by utilizing imagery, inner child work, past life regression and RTT.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
is a hybrid hypnotherapy methodology, combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, NLP, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. Marisa Peer, the internationally known therapist and the developer of Rapid Transformational Therapy, has worked with Fortune 500 Executives, celebrities, and royalty throughout the world for the last 30 years. RTT involves regressing a person back to the core root of their current problem, in order to view it from a different perspective, which in turn allows one to let go of old hurts and beliefs and create the change they so desire. I am certified in RTT, and utilize its tools when I feel it will be most beneficial.
